Warmfloor Hydronic Underfloor Heating System

The system is low temperature water piped through PEX tube designed in a loop specifically to the dimensions and features of your home and installed in the building foundations prior to the concrete floor being poured.

The water temperature and system operation are controlled by a Control Panel connecting the tube with the heat source (diesel, gas or electric boilers, geothermal bores, heat pumps, solid fuel fires/wetbacks, or solar energy), silently controlling the programme.

The system will be designed so that individual rooms or several small rooms can be separate zones controlled automatically with electric actuators and thermostats.

The system is out of sight so interior design and furniture placement is possible anywhere in the whole room space.

To achieve energy retention and efficiency of the system we recommend all buildings install underfloor insulation (25mm or 40mm compaction grade polystyrene) in accordance with The Building Standards Codes and that single glazed windows be protected by full length drapes/curtains. There should be no significant heat loss through windows or doors.

CONTROLLERS/THERMOSTATS
Programmable thermostats will maintain a preset temperature in the heated area at any time of the day or night. The digital display shows the temperature, the time and the status of the heating system.
